Oxenfoord Castle

Tuck In with Saltire Hospitality are proud to be nominated caterers to Oxenfoord Castle, a truly unique venue situated in Pathead, Midlothian. Oxenfoord Castle is the ideal venue in a convenient location for weddings and corporate events, with the added benefit of being yours exclusively, from the moment you arrive, until you leave.

The castle has three unique rooms:

  • The Library, which is ideal for drinks receptions and gatherings and boasts a log fire with an ornate ceiling by William Burn from 1842.
  • The Drawing Room (accessed from the Library), is ideal for dinners, large presentations and dancing. This bright and uplifting room has glass doors that open out onto the wonderful lawns to the south and west of the Castle. The Drawing Room can seat up to 150 guests.
  • The Dining Room is one of the most impressive rooms in Scotland with an ornate plaster ceiling created by Robert Adam in 1780. By combining the Library and the Drawing Room together, 150 can be seated for dinner.
