Greyfriars Charteris Centre
Located in the shadow of Arthur’s seat and a 10-minute stroll from Waverley railway station, Greyfriars Charteris Centre is a versatile venue based in a former Edwardian church which has recently undergone a dramatic refurbishment.
The available spaces consist of the Binks Hall (which can accommodate up to 200 people), St Ninian’s Hall (which can accommodate up to 60) as well as the Cowan room and the Ballie room for smaller gatherings. In addition to these spaces there is also the Enterprise Hub on the lower ground floor, and the Sanctuary above.

Each of these can be leased individually or in any combination, providing a fantastic degree of flexibility for both large and small events, and proving to be a popular location for wedding receptions, conferences, seminars and concerts.
The Greyfriars Charteris Centre is a Social Enterprise, and uses the fees for leasing space to support social enterprise and charitable work in the city and strengthen a sense of community in the local area.
